| The Clark State Community College Library serves the students, faculty, and staff of the college. The Library also welcomes residents of the community as patrons. The majority of the collection supports the curriculum of the college and includes more than 36,000 books and 200 periodical titles. The circulation desk, located at the main entrance to the Library, is a good place to ask for information or help when you begin to use the services of the Library. Reserve materials, including copies of some textbooks, are kept at this desk. This is also the place to borrow and return books. Any reserve materials signed out at this desk should be returned to it. The media center, located across from the circulation desk, houses an array of audiovisual software. Audiovisual materials are for use in the Library only, except with permission from the Library Director. In addition to the equipment for viewing and listening to these materials, the media center also contains Macintosh and PCs for student use. Internet access is available from all of the computers. The Library welcomes not only Clark State Community College students, faculty, and staff, but also community patrons. Children may use library resources as long as they are accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. Unattended or unaccompanied children are not permitted in the library. The library staff will alert campus police if children are left alone in the library. LOIS, Clark State's Library Online Information System, provides access to Clark's library resources and to OhioLINK services. You will need a valid Clark State ID and a barcode to use some OhioLINK services. Please ask the Library staff for help with using any of the resources. OhioLINK, the Ohio Library and Information Network, is a consortium of Ohio's college and university libraries and the State Library of Ohio. It offers access to more than 31 million library items statewide. The OhioLINK library catalog is available to all users online. Additional
