Research Guides

Guides make research faster and easier by providing the best starting point. For example: finding articles for an English 112 paper is very different from finding articles for a Nursing class. The research guide for each subject lists relevant databases available through OhioLINK. Stop by the library and ask a librarian for a few tips to make the most of database searches.

Research guides also list journals and magazines on the shelf at the library. The guides help navigate reference books by listing call numbers of the most used books for each subject. Instructors often say "no websites" but the sites listed on the guides are trustworthy, authoritative sources that most instructors will be happy to see in a bibliography.

Choose a research guide from the list below to match a class or a major. Use it online or print it to use again and again.
