The Clark State Library
is happy to have community patrons use the materials and services of the Clark
State Community College Library, with a few provisos and qualifications. Persons
who are residents of the state of Ohio may apply for Courtesy Cards. They
must present an Ohio Driver's License or other picture ID, or failing that,
have the permission of the Director of Library Resources. The Courtesy Card
holder in good standing* may:
1. Borrow
books from our Library. A total of five books may be checked out to a patron's
record during any given period of time. Books may be renewed once.
2. Use
OhioLINK services including borrowing books, catalogs, and databases
on a walk-in basis. OhioLINK books count as some or all of the five
books which may be charged to a patron's record at any one time.
3. Use
cooperating OhioLINK and SOCHE libraries depending on the other library's
policies.
4. Use
the premises, assistance, services, and equipment with the understanding
that Clark State students and employees take precedence when equipment
and staff are scarce.
5. The Courtesy
card is valid for 6 months and may be renewed indefinitely as long as the
holder is in good standing.
6. In order
to save word processing or other documents, the Courtesy Card holder
must have his/her own properly formatted disk.
Interlibrary
Loan services other than those through OhioLINK Patron Online Borrowing
should be obtained through the card holder's public, corporate or school
library.
Photocopies are
charged at the rate of $0.10 per page. Laser printer copies are charges at
the rate of $.20 per page. No credit can be given for user mistakes.
*Good standing is defined as having no overdue or other outstanding materials,
fines, and bills.
